Okay, I've gotten many emails and have seen many requests on the forums for part two of my interview with my Disneyland cast member friend. I sat down with my buddy out at Disneyland's Grand Californian / California Adventure one afternoon in February and we spoke about his 11 year history with the company. Part one of the interview posted on The Meandering Mouse on March 4, 2006. I find this part of the interview to be MUCH MORE interesting as my friend talks about the current job conditions at Disneyland and how things have changed since the inception of "presenteism." We also discuss something a bit less serious...his favorite and least favorite park attractions. As stated in the topic title, this is a special episode of The Meandering Mouse so there are no soundseeing experiences or goofyness. *Headphones Suggested* This episode begins with an introduction to The Meandering Minnie Mouse who I will be taking to Walt Disney World this coming week. She tells us what she is looking forward to and we get into some general shenanigans...it's a good laugh for sure. Next up is day three of my ongoing Disney trip report series. I start that with an EPCOT morning which includes a close call with an auto collision while entering EPCOT's parking lot and, of course, the EPCOT rope drop. Come along with us as we are herded like Disney tourist cattle into The Land pavilion in order to retrieve a FastPass for Soarin'. After a morning meandering with me and my pal, experience a ride thru of Test Track and some Disney sound oddities from the Manatee tank at the Living Seas. The last bit of audio weirdness is compliments of Earl from Trapped on Vacation as we hang out at The American Adventure.  This show closes with a hustled entry into the Magic Kingdom for a spot on the Tomorrowland bridge to view the Wishes fireworks show above Conderella's castle.

It's an Animal Kingdom Morning and a visit to ALL FOUR DISNEY PARKS in one day!  During the trip report, I comment on all the changes I noticed on Pirates of the Caribbean since it re-opened for a month after the first phase of rehab.  Next up, by popular demand, I feature an insane ride thru of  Splash Mountain. I say insane because we had visited ALL FOUR DISNEY PARKS before riding Splash at 1:30 in the morning!!!! We were sorta loopy from walking 15 to 20 some miles and going that long in the Disney parks. I've also got some wild news. My friend Patrick ran into Saul the Unsuspecting and Overly Enthusiastic Tourist while visiting the Haunted Mansion!!! Can you believe it?? Join Saul and my bud, Patrick, for one heck of a goofy time as they journey through the cobwebs and spookiness of The Haunted Mansion.  The show ends with some GREAT listener feedback so stay tuned.
